Operating Principle

	Normal condition The rectifier converts the AC power the inverter and at the same time maintain the battery fully charged. The load is supplied with a perfectly regulated AC voltage.
	Main Supply absent or outside tolerance The battery supplies the required power to the inverter, which, after conversion and without interruption, supplies a high quality AC power to the load.
	Mains Supply restored The rectifier resumes its supply to the inverter which converters the DC voltage to AC for the load and at the same time starts to re-charge the battery.
	BY-PASS In the event of a temporary overload in excess of the design load, and/or a defect in one of the UPS sub-assemblies, the load is transferred by the by-pass directly without interruption to the mains.
	Maintenance(MBS) In order to permit maintenance or other work to be carried out on the unit without shutdown, the load can be transferred to the mains without interruption in its supply, by means of the MBS(manual by-pass switch)
